How do you keep the caregivers in compliance?
Our Customer Success team works with your internal team to get your caregivers onto the app and the app keeps the users engaged! With many small lessons, the education is easy to learn and retain. This means that not only are your aides compliant, they are prepared to serve your clients with knowledge and confidence.
Will my company save money?
Yes! If a caregiver takes a long time or wants to rewatch the lessons, do I get charged extra?
Absolutely not. Lesson time is calculated based on the average user, and workers can rewatch lessons as many times as they like!
How does pricing work?
Let’s start by explaining how other education providers charge. Most education providers sell yearly licenses for each caregiver to use. If a caregiver leaves the industry or your company, you just paid for a license that is not useful and expired. At Nevvon, we only charge for the hours studied. You will only pay for actual caregiver usage. As well, the hours never expire. If at the end of the year, there are hours not used by the caregiver, simply roll them over to next year. What will I do with my caregivers who will not use the app?
There are people who go deposit their checks at the teller, there are people who use rotary phones. We get it: Nostalgia. Don’t worry, we have solutions for blended learning where your company will still be able to ensure your caregiver is in compliance.
Is the Nevvon training available in other languages?
Yes, we are continually building out the education in many languages, including Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Spanish, Polish, Haitian, Russian, and Arabic. Email us at hello@nevvon.com to see if the language you require is available.
Do you provide certificates of completion?
Yes, your agency can choose to allow the caregiver to download their certificate directly from the app. Your agency will always have access by electronic file, which you can print or download to include in your own filing system.
Why did you build the caregiver education on an app?
We conducted a number of focus groups, surveys, and questionnaires for the caregivers who service our industry, and an overwhelming number of them prefer to use their mobile phone. Most do not have a computer or laptop.
Why did you build an app and not a mobile friendly website like other education providers?
A lot of websites aren’t formatted properly for mobile devices. Mobile apps are designed to offer a simpler and better user experience. We built the app with the caregiver in mind to achieve better usage and satisfaction.
What type of training do you offer?
As an e-learning platform for the healthcare industry, we offer a wide range of online training courses. Our training programs include state and federally compliant courses, as well as value-based care programs that align with industry best practices. We provide training for various healthcare roles, including caregivers, nurses, administrators, and more. Our training is designed to be accessible, convenient, and engaging, allowing learners to complete courses from anywhere, at any time, and on any device.
Do you have the required training for my state?
Yes, Nevvon offers state-specific training that is tailored to meet the regulatory requirements for each state. Our platform provides training that meets state and federal requirements, and we work with our clients to ensure that they are compliant with all applicable regulations. Whether you are a caregiver or an agency, we offer the training you need to provide high-quality care that meets the standards set by your state — our compliance department works very closely with the Home Care Associations, State Regulators, legal representation, and nurse educators to stay on top of changing regulations.
Do I have to pay my caregivers to do the training?
Yes, caregivers must be compensated for their time spent completing training modules. As an employer, it’s important to recognize the value of ongoing education and training for your workforce. Offering paid training shows your caregivers that you invest in their professional development and supports a culture of continuous learning. Additionally, paid training is required by law in many states. We recommend checking your state’s regulations for specific requirements.
Do I need Internet? Is the training available on any device?
Yes, caregivers will need internet access to access our training platform, and yes, our training is available on any device with internet access, including iPhones, smartphones, tablets, and desktops so you can complete your training at your convenience.
